Just A Little While Longer

This weekend I heard a new worship song, well knew to me, and it has stuck with me Its message, astounding. I had to share.

My Soul Sings

My soul sings My soul sings My soul sings How I love you

It’s just little while longer and I’ll see you
It’s just a little while longer and I’ll know you It’s just a little while longer and we’ll be together

All I want is just
To know Your heart And will you keep me here Until we’re one?

The simplistic yet powerful message is so comforting, so filled with hope and love for my Savior.

From Him are all things given to us and to Him all things should be given for His glory!
Day and night our incense of love and worship should rise to the throne room to bless Him!
The sacrifice that was made for us, provokes need to bow despite there was no need necessary to cause Him to be so deserving! Being the Creator of all things was all thats necessary for our Heavenly Father to deserve all, man and angels to bow before His throne, where there elders cast their crowns in honor, glory, and worship of The Almighty.

Soon enough this is the sight we will see, the atmosphere we will know; those of us who are followers of Christ. Be encouraged if you are tired or under attack, consider

Psalm 121

I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.

He will not allow your foot to be moved;
He who keeps you will not slumber.
Behold, He who keeps Israel
Shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is your keeper;
The Lord is your shade at your right hand.
The sun shall not strike you by day,
Nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve you from all evil;
He shall preserve your soul.
The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in
From this time forth, and even forevermore.

If you are in a place of waiting, your not waiting alone! HE is our Help in time of need, and HE is the answer to all questions and problems, trials and tribulations.
Our waiting is not in vain for we wait with One who is interceding on our behalf, and we wait with the One who has gone before us and worked out all for our good and the good of the bigger picture. Be encouraged, you may be lonely and ready to give up but just wait , its just a little while longer and we will see HIM!

Don’t give up, if you don’t think you can make it on your own know God is carrying you cast your cares on Him and reach out to His people the will surround you and lift you up!

And remember, the key to winning the war on top and not trampled is prayer and the Word!

Long Hairy Road…

We have been given free will.  The importance of this free will is a persona character and choice between good and evil. Image Surely there is more to it you ask? Nope. You have a choice and cannot serve two masters! It is my opinion that every human is called to be great! Everyones calling of greatness is as unique as that persons fingerprints.
Choosing wisely effects not only the individuals future but the lives of everyone around just as that cliché of the ripple in a pond suggests…
In our daily lives, we are given opportunities for victory whether it be a small dilemma or inconceivable sized mountain of dilemma. What tends to trip us up in our finite ability to think and create, is what our idea of victory is. Bringing us back to the choice of good or evil when what we believe to be the only form of victory does not show. You can use your free will to trust God and continue on a journey for good and trust the all knowing Creator sees the end picture and the way our purpose play into it or choose evil and take matters into your own finite hands potentially damaging your own life and that of others.
Victory does not mean the end of conflict, but the active move toward the end of the dilemma  or trial is the beginning of victory. John 16:7 reminds us the Holy Spirit is our Helper. Don’t set Him on a shelf and think in our human condition it is possible to fix any problem much less those under supernatural influence.
Many will find themselves on the road for evil not recognizing so because they believe they are a good person and that is enough. If you knew the Word that you claim to believe you would know being a god person does not get anyone to an eternity with the Father. He designed us with free will and this is where your choice falls. Good or evil, this is not a specific choice of integrity it is a life and heart choice, a choice of which road to travel down. The wide beautiful and heavily travelled road is a road to destruction but the less traveled, obscured, narrow road leads to an eternity spent in the Love of God.
If you find yourself on a cycle of defeat, you are facing a fork in the road. Your awareness creates that fork, a choice, the creator and giver of all things good, or the life of hedonism with an end of eternal separation form the Love of God.

Please consider the consequences of your temporal pleasure and the effect your life has on those you love!

Get Caught

Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you. (Matthew 5:42 ESV)

Is this our mentality? Think about your own mindset…
We ask so much of Jesus, we desire to walk with Him but many desire only His hands and what He has to give and not necessarily His face. If His beauty is only glimpsed but once, to be caught in His gaze, thats all a person really needs. The road gets long, but if we ask to walk with Him, we are never alone. Seek Him in the wilderness, that is where He can be found. He will whisper and speak to your hear tif you will be still and listen.

The wide gate is well traveled, it is beautiful but the end of the road is destruction.
Go against the stream, against the grain, find yourself in the very place the angels fear to tread, find yourself standing before the throne of The Almighty. He is faithful and His word is truth! Find yourself not seeking things that will burn up and rust away. Image

We will lay our crowns before Jesus some day, and in the mean time as we occupy this Earth, make a decision to sow your tears and invest into others that might consider the wide gate. Lift them up bring them onto the path of the narrow way. This is where your treasure can be found.

What good does your riches profit you if they are hidden away for safe keeping? Will God not bring you all you need if you are willing to make space for it?

I want to die empty…. I desire to be used up until there is nothing left within this mortal, finite, vessel and the Lord has nothing left but to take me home to be with Him. Image

But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:14

Who’s that talking?

What have we been taught?

Shhh, you talk too much,

Go and play,

Go and watch television.

Don’t look outside there is nothing there for you.

Sit up straight and look pretty for the people.

Mothered by television, fathered by games

Why do you act in such ways?

Cover your eyes, close your ears, and shut your mouth!

Get in your little room

We made it just for you

Fashioned to house you in solitude happily in silence

If the door is locked we can keep you there

You will grow up

you will be just as we want

But the raging that comes from the room

Looking through the small glass the child rages beating the door

Screaming out

Beating and screaming

Quiet you hear quiet

Soon silence, calm

Maturity?

Growth has come

Looking through the glass only to find death

The child laying in a quite, cold mass on the floor

Bloody and almost unrecognizable

What went wrong?

This generation is looked at and questioned why? Why do you have pink hair, why wear black make-up, what’s with the tattoos and piercing’s, why must your music be so loud and your entertainment so wild?

They are trying so hard to fill a void. An un-parented void this generation has never been taught how to love. Each young person is looking for his or her place, LOVE, sense of belonging, identity. We need so greatly people to rise up and say I will love you, I will mentor you, I will Father you and I will mother you! There is just something about being called son or daughter.

God however is standing beside each of these young people crying and whispering Abba is here, you will never be alone I am proud to be your father. I take your rejection, in-security, bitterness, intimidation, and fear. I take on all loneliness, and addictions, no more self mutilation, no more helplessness. The earth is groaning for the sons and daughters of the living God to rise up. Rise up and stand alongside your Father who will never walk out on you for any reason.Image

God has made each person fearfully and wonderfully and He will never walk away God will carry you. He loves you with your green hair and twelve piercing’s, He rejoices in your loud music and unexplainable wild dancing. He finds joy in your laughter and His heart breaks with your tears, Daddy God knows your flaws, fears, hurts, and desires, each is so important and rests in his heart. Others may walk away and have often in young people’s lives today, but God made the ultimate sacrifice proving His love and loyalty.  We want safety and security; do you not hear our cry? Do you not see our tears, our pleas for love for tenderness? Are you just so wrapped up in your big ministries trying to out do the pastor down the road having the most people on a Sunday morning that you don’t see the smallest child vying for your love and attention? God however hears those prayers when the parents in our lives do not. The warmth of the Fathers love banishes all fear, bringing the great security and safety we so desperately need.  Our Father, Abba, has given us great instruction for relationships on Earth. The Father’s word is infallible therefore there is no discrepancy in His instructions on what love is. So why has this simple command been so forsaken? We are to love on another with an everlasting love just as the Father loves us. I look about at the young people my age and my heartbreaks for them. I see their emptiness, their pain, I hear their cries to be loved and cared for. I see the need for love so great in my generation. What can be done? The mess being handed down can only be corrected by the hand of the Father, as well as correcting the un-parented crisis and the emptiness plaguing the young by His love and kindness with His warm tender presence.
Otherwise, the cycle will only continue and there will be yet another generation born into this world to be left to

learn and grown with no instruction, guidance love and tender care.

No Excuse

She met Jesus face to face

The Samaritan Woman is not her given name, it has become her identity.  This is often how we identify each other, not by who we are and our given name but by what we have done and how it is remembered.  Consider people you know, even by acquaintance, when you think of them what comes to mind first?
When Jesus was faced with an individual society told Him not to even speak with what was His reaction? What is ours?

Jesus blithely disregarded the ancient enmity between the two groups. He began talking to the woman about ‘living water’. The woman questioned him and drew him into conversation. Jesus explained that when people drink ordinary water, they get thirsty again. But he had water that gave eternal, life.

Naturally this caught the interest of the woman, burdened as she was with the daily task of carrying water. She asked for some of this ‘living water’.
In this story, a woman experienced the progressive stages of faith in Jesus. She met Jesus, she learned about him, and she came to believe in him. Then she went and told other people about him.

The people listening to her also came to believe in Jesus. It did not matter that she was a woman and a Samaritan. Gender and nationality were not important. No one was excluded from the Christian community. Is this the way you live? Is this the way you respond to individuals in need? Do you brush it off and justify such behavior by saying there are plenty of other people to help that person…

but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life John 4:14

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint Jeremiah 31:25

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled Matthew 5:6

Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them John 7:38

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes Revelation 7:17

With overwhelming evidence of what we possess within us and what is needed in this world how then can we justify keeping it sealed inside.

Everyone has the ability to give something. Money is not crucial to change lives love is, willingness, prayer, and selflessness. When topics such as this come up individuals tend to immediately go to the thought of monetary giving as to much or not an option but everyone can give something to someone.

Don’t make excuses. Make changes.
